I'm very pleased to announce that we've chosen the pieces we'll be including in the string theory anthology.  I want to thank all of you who submitted work.  We appreciate your patience in waiting for not one, but two rounds of responses.

For those of you who do not find your name on the list below, I'm sorry to say that due to the volume of submissions, we cannot offer you an individual explanation of our decision.  Know that it was a difficult decision for us--based on a balancing act between overall quality and appropriateness to the theme--for a limited amount of page space in the anthology.  Undoubtedly, our selection criteria have been predicated on factors that are unavoidably subjective.

Alex Nodopaka: ...
A tour de force
has been achieved
with the string cinched

I slipped through
my private hoop
with an intimate theory

of looking backward
at a future already past
and now I spin new hoops

in the hope of finding
my self photographed
jumping through them

and so goodbye friends until May 2008
